Ph.D. Student in Economics at Temple University, and Founder of Direct Congress. I'm passionate about making Congress work for America, instead of being led by special interest money. See DirectCongress.org.
Prior to my formal study of Economics and work with Direct Congress, I spent five years building two small businesses into successful enterprises in Philadelphia, PA. I grew up in a low-income conservative Christian family in Virginia, and attended The Honor Academy in Texas before studying business at JMU and working for Teach For America. My wife, a Children's Doctor, and I had our first child, Jonathan, in June of 2012.
After making a customer complaint, I received a phone call from the CEO of Jiffy mix, the top producer of baking mixes in America. His story illuminates corporate America's sad moral decline.
